Hearing your voice on tape for most people when they just hear tape record their -- is rather strange experience that's not me. Now you've -- background on recordings and on stage. But what was it like hearing your singing voice as a lead vocalist on -- for the first time. It was who's who's better and I thought because as were working these songs out I developed ways to make myself not sound like my normal talking voice you know I develop ways to push my voice. And different directions and I have a different singing voice that I do the talking -- but there's. Like in songs like. New way out. Where it's more of a ballot and I'm I'm singing more theory you can kind of hear my. My normal talking voice but for the most part this is an aggressive record and I get -- it. Push in new ways where it doesn't really sound like myself so I feel more comfortable that way and hearing it back also sent a comfortable. Yeah you know of the when I didn't feel comfortable with with the part -- heard of back I'd buy you re saying that part rewrote the lyrics until I feel comfortable with -- will this cause you to -- more and Alter bridge and increase. You know I'm not gonna -- step on your guys' toes and say I should sing these parts and on this letter from him better for me this thinkers are both better you know a great -- so. You know. -- -- -- -- And yet you know when you see a lot of bands every so often the lead guitarist will step up and play a song and would you ever see that happening in either creator ultra rich if it ever worked out the guys -- -- that I love to know. I would love to see show were all the bands are on stage you know maybe like a one -- not necessarily a tour but work. The true -- band opens and then Alter Bridge plays and and maybe slash for Myles Kennedy plays and then -- concludes -- show could you see something like that how winning I would love and then Scott got his solo band as well our. You have a festival. Until the festival you mentioned new way out let's play that right now from the brand new record all time wise. Okay. I. And it's. Okay. That is new way out from the forthcoming album I was from mark from -- it will be released on July 17 and mark is here with us right now. Family's very important to you and both of your Brothers have played active parts in both Alter Bridge increase history and I speak of Michael from Monty and -- from -- Michael from -- served as your tour manager with -- Alter Bridge in -- liaison and publicist. I've it's very important because there you can trust them.
