Twitter is -- up you guys are you guys are actually doing the tweeting I see the end when you wheat -- I see the you do it because we've got to stay here or do you actually. You enjoy Twitter. That's fun you know I call you -- -- -- It is. You know and I can't take it seriously at all anything on there it is usually just just pretty funny. Pretty funny -- out. But I mean like the because we came up as a as a punk -- it was all about the the gathering away it wasn't about being a spectacle as the band it was about being part of a show and stuff. And so the Internet for us is always a way. To really connect with with our fans like to try to have a real interaction with the fans and coming up in a scene where -- -- the audience half the time was on the stage doing stage dives and stuff. It's kind of the same thing you know in the Internet world and -- -- is tweeting back -- four of these -- online stay Stein yes exactly. And do you hate like are completely indifferent to the fact that anybody in the world can say you -- or your great and you can read and in five seconds to matter who that person. Seth I don't know why you can't you can't take it too seriously you know it's just for me it's just fun I love following comedians on there you know just -- the most ridiculous thing spread you know anything that makes me chuckle -- -- -- but yet people are pretty brave behind the Internet or right that is the -- let's play another song from the album it's called turning into you -- beef before it -- particular song. Dexter do you remember where you were when you thought of writing the song what was going on in your world where you gonna pick up truck we find an airplane eating hot sauce there had to. -- all of the above. Yeah this -- I mean there's different kinds of feelings that we get across and every record I think this one is kind of disappear I'm pissed off kindness on in. And trying to you know have my own identity but sometimes feel like -- Being pushed around her for trying to be forced -- someone else's mole like yes and so that's kind of where that song came from turning it seems the name of the -- days go by is coming out of June 26. We're hanging -- with the upgrade inside the offspring and days go by. Yeah. Okay. Turning it -- from the offspring. Another new record is coming out. Finally I mean I consider this your face we've been waiting for an offspring and you have given it to us in you've worked you work -- Bob brought for the second time in a row. He's produced its record what does he bring to the table you guys Bob's awesome absolutely. Is somebody we've just kind of resonated with from from when we first started working when I -- for sat down with them. We think a lot alike we we share a lot of the same sensibilities. And he just really knows how to kind of push us beyond. You know what we would have come up with you know -- It you know they'll look listen to something that's partially great this apartment you know could be a little better. -- -- say like the Sox or whatever else what else could we do here Nike discounting his he nudges you very politely. It was it a no brainer 'cause you know Bob worked on your last record these were -- -- from 311 Metallica Motley Crue I mean the guy knows what he's doing was there ever -- thought when you went to make the new album days go by let's change it up and let's get. This guy who we've never worked with before or is it it was a lock that it was going to be about. We wanted Bob on this from from the beginning we have shares of time working with the moral rise and -- -- integrated Staten that we use one. Continue before this record working with -- for the first time that was a little bit. It was a leap of faith a little bit because just that we didn't know him and we know you know his. His a lot of what he's on the pass was more a metal kind of stuff. And rock -- when you realize that he actually really came up in the Vancouver punk scene -- a lot of experience producing confidence and so. He he totally gets it in for decorate and like -- did you guys have an idea of what you wanted to do musically when you win to make the new record noodles. Not really this time -- you know. Just wanted to do another great you know record review good offspring record. Hopefully. You just go in and start working on songs that you see what happens we. We rarely kind of think okay let's do you know let's let's do more old school stuff in -- -- new schools definitely think about that. Too much you just what -- of the songs you know what are we got how they work and you know what we put together with as far as complete record with the songs that we -- It is hard to get one song on the radio it is hard to get a record deal it is hard to get people to hear your music it was 1992 admission came out twenty years ago you guys two years after that songs like self esteem and got to get away were on the album called smashed.
