What struck me as a long time -- -- there seems to be real fire going on there's always a great amount of technical prowess in your records that's nothing new. The deceased be of particular fire that I here in the music. On the struck me right away that Harken back to me to some and its Japanese albums. Nothing you guys are trying to reduce that again but there seem to be certainly in the music did you feel that or was there an influence there and did the success that documentary helped kind of give you retrospective feel. Mean well it's funny there's been there was a certain. New viable or our new level of playing that we. Felt we achieved on the last tour and I think because we allowed herself some moments which is rare for us being kind of the victims of our own. Patterns -- you know we're structure freaks you know we love took over structured the songs and we don't leave much room for jamming or. Or are a momentary bursts of of inspiration. But we did on this last tour. And we noticed that we kind of went to a really fun an interest seeing and little bit dangerous place some nights you know where. He just kind of elevated to sing into a new zone of of intensity. Furious was I guess it doesn't describe itself. In my mind and I know Alex is mind that we had that. Revived. It saying you know saying to ourselves what why you are records -- -- have that furious thing of pride and that's why is there. Why do we get so caught up in the structure of the song. That you try to achieve it through over doves or you know multiple melodies. And and sometimes it's got to come from the source itself for its gotta be -- the vibe of the plane or the party for himself. With certain songs like headlong flight and even parts of car -- and there are moments that come right out of that desire to be a three piece playing furiously with each other. Well it really comes across and and I think that's what I would highlight anybody who's a rush fan that. You know we are faced this thing of like what we love the classic albums but you know why should I listen -- them now and I would say to anything. But he -- a rush finished there's a particular passion in this record that I haven't heard from wallet. And that was really attractive to me it's great. Uses it's the season. -- -- -- Here's another -- the rush out -- That was being an artist from -- -- out -- angels. Let's get back to my conversation getting them. So -- the song the record of success is right you guys switched instruments is that true. That was great how we were rom we are working in our little room and -- there was technical problems so we sort of migrated to the main room and spirits can sit around chatting with nick and get -- over. By my little station where -- on the guitar set up when he picked up when in my acoustics it was tuned. Two national tuning case you know use just don't know what that is it's thing -- strings and twelve -- who has a very -- bright airy. Section Chang -- sound. -- so he's chief I could hear him play some chords and then he certainly -- out of her room and came back a minute later with some lyrics and any.
